Just Crushing On My NATO Strap…

IMG_8497

This week I’m all about this Daniel Wellington NATO Southampton strap in navy, pink and white.
The face is from my Classic Sheffield in Rose Gold but
Switching the strap out has completely changed the look and feel of the watch.

This is now the
Daniel Wellington Classic Southampton watch in Rose Gold
To me, it is now far more casual and relaxed. At first I thought I wouldn’t get much use out of this strap, loving my monochrome comfort zone the way I do,
However after a few days of wearing it I know I’m gonna get so much use from it.
The pin to change the straps over came in the box and
was so easy to do even for a complete watch novice like myself.

OUTFIT

I’ve teamed up my White Amelie Skinny Jeans from River Island
Tan gladiator sandals with gold hardware also from River Island circa 2005 and held together with love (similar everywhere)
Coral floaty vest top from kmart ($5!!!)
and
Charlize 5 Pocket Soft Denim Jacket from FOREVER NEW

IMG_8585

These ‘Amelie’s’ are a real true white jean, they are thicker than most white jeans I’ve seen which helps them to look less see through.
I love how crisp and bright they look when I team them with a neon top.
Double denim like a rebel with my deep blue jacket from Forever New which is a soft stretch and again a great go with everything option.

OUTFIT

Amelie’s
Tan Ballet Flats from New look
and
Basic stripe 3/4 sleeve T-shirt from ZARA
Again with the white jeans, today with tan and navy.
This colour combo is a classic and looks relaxed and still put together.
These basics from Zara are such a bargain. Fantastic soft fabric that feel so comfortable and easy to wear.

Have a great week guys whatever your up to

Thanks for reading

Just a Jumper Dress…

IMG_7778

Is there anything easier to wear than a jumper dress?

To me the pro’s of a one item outfit are many…
Not worrying about coordination or accessories and feeling put together and smart to name a few.
I have missed wearing dresses as Sienna is still feeding, however she has cut down her feeding so much that during the day I now have some freedom back in my outfit choices.
August means Australian Winter is in full force and there are many rainy days.
It is not cold, like U.K Winter cold but it can still be pretty chilly
These jumper dresses with a cowl neck have been re-released for a few years now
Versatile and flattering
A great piece that you can wear with a biker jacket, a denim jacket or a scarf and completely change the look

Just Add A Pop Of Colour

Ombre Chiffon Top ally

Black Tube Skirt H&M

Primark Black Barely There Sandals

Hello Gorgeous People, I hope Tuesday has been good to you. Just a quick outfit post today.

This Ombre top is a light weight chiffon material that can be thrown over anything. It was pretty long at the back in a hi-lo situation, which looks fantastic on some people but I just can’t pull that off with my tiny torso so my Mum is Law altered this to make the hem at the back only slightly longer than the front. What that woman can do with a sewing machine is amazing!
I love this peppermint shade, It flatters most skin tones and looks great with similar sugary shades, white and black.

Tube skirts have been out for quite some time.
Great in the heat and with leggings in the cooler weather.
They are easy to wear, comfy and work just as well with heels and flats.

Primary sandals I’ve had a few years now but you can pick this style up anywhere now.
The front strap is slightly thicker than the ankle strap so you don’t feel as though your toes are being cut off and they’re simple enough to work with most outfits.

As the seasons change it’s easy to be drawn into the new colours and prints in every high street shop, spend way too much money on ‘in trend’ items, that without heat stroke (or frostbite) you may never have purchased…

Try to be shopping savvy, invest in pieces that you can pull out year after year.
Key items that you know will always look good on you and make you feel pretty.
Then budget in a scarf or a few tops in the colour or print of the moment
That way you still look bang on trend at a fraction of the cost
And have clothing you still want to wear 6 months down the line

Thanks for reading guys

Have a gorgeous week

Just trying something different…

OUTFIT

Aztec singlet Dotti
Moto Black Joni Jeans TOPSHOP
Black aztec bag TOPSHOP
Black Denial-B Sandals Betts

I have been lusting after theses heavy duty sandals for months and I have shoe envy whenever I pass any Betts or pass someone wearing them.

They are a statement shoe and I had ‘will they suit me’ doubts so I could not justify the $89.99 price tag
However that all changed when they went into the end of season sale for $19.99 that is roughly £14
I mean thats on par with Primark prices so I snapped them up.
Yes they may not be everyone’s cup of Chai latte but I adore them
They are super comfy and add something different to the simplest of outfits
The buckle and strap tip are gun metal grey so these can be worn with silver or gold jewellery and hardware

The Jeans are a staple and the jacket I’ve had for years. It’s a lightweight alternative to my leather biker.

‘Move to Australia” they said
‘The weather is gorgeous” they said…

These overcast dull days mean that layering is not just a fashion statement, it is a must!
When we leave on the school run it is cold, sometimes wet and windy,
however by lunch time the sun is out and it is positively lovely
Today I opted for Soft stretch jeans and a knitted sleeveless vest
Ankle boots and my trusty leather biker jacket

A leather jacket if you find one you adore, will last for years, they can be dressed up or down, go with literally everything and never go out of style

Yes finding a pair of jeans you not only love but that love you back is a mission but again once you find them thats a match made in denim clad heaven.

I love me some black ankle boots, flat or heeled they are a no brainer.
