I am such a lover of fabulous nails.
Intricate nail art and vibrant colours defiantly have a wow factor.
That said I am the least adventurous person I know when it comes to wearing varnish.
I love how put together I feel on the rare occasion my fingers match my toes, but even then the shade I lean towards is always a pinky nude.
I like shades that go with everything and work with every outfit.
The colour I reach for time and again and the only polish I have ever re-purchased is mademoiselle, shade 13 from essie.
This incredibly feminine shade is so beautiful and easy to wear.
If I only have time to apply one coat this gives a subtle wash of colour. When I apply a second layer to make the pink more opaque, the look I achieve is still soft and extremely flattering.
Apologies for not popping on a picture of me wearing this, ashamedly I bite the skin around my nails and I mean no-one wants to see that.
