Just Crushing On My NATO Strap…

This week I’m all about this Daniel Wellington NATO Southampton strap in navy, pink and white.
The face is from my Classic Sheffield in Rose Gold but
Switching the strap out has completely changed the look and feel of the watch.

This is now the
Daniel Wellington Classic Southampton watch in Rose Gold
To me, it is now far more casual and relaxed. At first I thought I wouldn’t get much use out of this strap, loving my monochrome comfort zone the way I do,
However after a few days of wearing it I know I’m gonna get so much use from it.
The pin to change the straps over came in the box and
was so easy to do even for a complete watch novice like myself.

I’ve teamed up my White Amelie Skinny Jeans from River Island
Tan gladiator sandals with gold hardware also from River Island circa 2005 and held together with love (similar everywhere)
Coral floaty vest top from kmart ($5!!!)
Charlize 5 Pocket Soft Denim Jacket from FOREVER NEW

These ‘Amelie’s’ are a real true white jean, they are thicker than most white jeans I’ve seen which helps them to look less see through.
I love how crisp and bright they look when I team them with a neon top.
Double denim like a rebel with my deep blue jacket from Forever New which is a soft stretch and again a great go with everything option.

Tan Ballet Flats from New look
Basic stripe 3/4 sleeve T-shirt from ZARA
Again with the white jeans, today with tan and navy.
This colour combo is a classic and looks relaxed and still put together.
These basics from Zara are such a bargain. Fantastic soft fabric that feel so comfortable and easy to wear.

Have a great week guys whatever your up to

Just a Maroon Jeans Kind Of Day…

hat pout

hat straight on-2

 hat look down

tippy toes

Peplum Top H&M
Maroon Skinny Jeans New Look
Rope Necklace TOPSHOP
Black Heels Rubi Shoes : Cotton On

And the Black Lushous Wide Brim Hat is from Live Clothing

I’m always slightly afraid of coloured jeans
I worry that I will look absurd and my faithful black Joni jeans would have looked better but teamed with a monochrome top I think they work well
I took off and put on this hat about 10 times
It is strangely glamorous wearing a hat. I always imagine being famous
and I sway between feeling aloof and ridiculous

What accessories do you love? Wear to death? Are afraid of?

The Watch That Just Goes With Everything

Daniel Wellington Classic Sheffield Watch

This weeks outfits are based solely around my new Daniel Wellington Rose Gold
Classic Sheffield Watch

With an extremely preppy, British feel Daniel Wellington watches have fast become the time piece of the moment
All of the watches in the collection have a crisp egg shell white face and there are an array of interchangeable straps to choose from.

I chose the Sheffield as it is sleek and simple, making it a great “go with everything” accessory.

“The story behind Daniel Wellington begins with a trip half way around the globe where Filip Tysander, the founder of Daniel Wellington, met an intriguing gentleman from the British Isles. The man had the inspiring ability to be genteel but still relaxed and unpretentious. He had an impeccable style and loved to wear his watches on old weathered NATO straps. His name? Well, Daniel Wellington, of course.
A strong friendship emerged between the two, and our founder was inspired not only by the man’s many great life stories but also by his class and timeless style of fashion.”

– From The Daniel Wellington Website

The thin design means you get the look of a big bulky watch without weighing your wrist down. It’s sleek, elegant and for the money a fantastic buy.

Have you hopped on the DW band wagon yet? and what strap do you prefer?
